There is no scarcity of unbelievable autonomous cafés and restaurants in Dubai’s Jumeirah Lakes Towers, however, now the area has its very own Asian food hall. Although it has only opened a few months ago, the popularity has escalated and it is nominated for various awards.
This Asian food hall is the situation by the team at the back of Dubai’s famous Thai and Chinese food delivery brand Zen, this new entrant to JLT’s Cluster D consists of a series of diverse kitchens devoted to cooking up dishes from Asia’s foodiest hotspots.
Fat Aunt’s gives out an assortment of Malaysian and Singaporean favorites, comprising of curries (from Dhs29) and sambal prawns (Dhs38), and a plate of crunchy spring onion pancakes (Dhs14) that are a MUST HAVES.
Hing Kee, in the meantime dishes out barbecued Thai and Chinese dishes like char siu beef rice (Dhs38) and Thai barbecue chicken (Dhs32) from an exclusive menu of smoky grills.
Zen, though, sits at the heart of the whole operation, with a far larger menu of dishes born of the novel concept. Try all of the items from Thai curries and gigantic piles of pad Thai (Dhs34) to crispy, spicy salads and sweet, steamy satay.
It is still early days, and there are plans to modify the menu and experience continent upon customer feedback as the place grows.
A meal for two will cost you an average of Dhs150 for two in which you will have ample leftovers to pack up and take home for another go.
